Don't Take it Personal, It is General
Whatever you are going through, whatever is happening with you or around you, I urge you not to take any of those personal, for they are not. You might think, "oh but mine is different, nobody has had this same problem I’m having now." Perhaps, thousands of other people in the world would also be having the same thought that you are having. And because they are not sharing theirs, it seems as if it’s personal to them too, but it’s never. Many people have gone through and still going through what you are going through right now.
You know one of the greatest problems of humanity is the problem of communication. We don't communicate well enough. And there’s too much hypocrisy. People are not telling the truth. Many are hiding what they are doing in private, but telling what they are doing in public. They are hiding their problems, but showcasing their solutions. They are hiding their sorrows and silent cries, but publicizing their excitements and momentary pleasure. Who are we deceiving?
In fact, in these days of social media, it's even worse. Hardly will you know who is telling the truth unless you are close to them and know what they are doing in the corner of their room. Everybody just come online and post whatever they feel like will give them public praise and admiration. But this is an expression of fake and hypocritical life. I’m not saying we should not post our good moments on social media. But I'm saying the equation must be balanced. In as much as we want people to know of our good side, we must also let them see the other side. It’s never a sign of weakness. But a sign of wholeness and genuine life.
We all know there’s always two sides to everything. And we can't be happy all day long. But our ability to go through different moments of life and come out strong is what makes us grow and better persons. To let people know of our difficulties and challenges doesn't make us weak, but rather makes us genuine and open to love from people. I know sometimes, this might be difficult to do, especially if you are in a high, reputable position. You won’t want to ridicule yourself before people. But I tell you the truth that people respect people with genuine life more than those with hypocritical life. And people learn more from other people's mistakes than their success stories.
So, let your life be a light that saves people from darkness. It's not enough to show people what you are capable of doing, show them what you are also not capable of doing. That would make them believe you and connect more with you. We know we all have feelings, challenges and situations. And these are all part of life. So, there's no need to pretend about anything, but to confront life with boldness and faith. Therefore, take nothing you are going through personal, for there are many people who have gone through and are still going through them, and there's hope and assurance that you will overcome and come out strong and lead a better life. Sharing Abundance (CHAPELL)
CHAPELL (...sharing abundance) All we do is sharing! There’s love in sharing. More reason why it’s not only one person that is living on earth. Over 7.8 billion of us are living together inside this planet earth. And we’ve got a lot to share. First is the air that we breathe. From the previous generation to the very present one, we share the same air, the same atmosphere and the same earth. We share the same nature.
One beautiful thing we see about this sharing is the overwhelming joy that comes with it. Imagine the last food you shared with your friend, how nice it was. And now, when you are sharing abundance, you know the joy is so unspeakable. You are out of this world.
In chapell, we have one focus- sharing abundance. Everything we share, we share abundance. We share abundant health, joy, love, energy, attention, ability, talents, resources, ideas, food, money, and every other thing that you can think of. We share absolutely everything. And our understanding of the power of sharing is great. That’s what has made us effective and proficient in handling our vision and fulfilling our purpose.
We understand there’s abundance in the world. There’s abundance in nature. No matter what the economy is saying, we know there’s more. We can do better and have more. The abundance is not limited to only what we can see, but also what we cannot see. The resources are so unlimited that we cannot exhaust them. We can’t finish eating all the food in this world. Neither can we finish all the water, air, sun energy, or space. None of these can be exhausted, thanks to abundance in our world.
So, every time you think of what to eat, drink, wear, or do, know that there’s more than enough for you and everyone around you. And you are not limited by anything except the thoughts in your mind. So, upgrade your thoughts and you will upgrade your life. Hearty cheers!
