Why Is It Difficult for Them to Let Africa Develop?

Many times, when I think of those in the West and other parts of the world that I refer to them as colonial demons, there's no time when I'm not shocked by their evil and wickedness against Africans.

When we mention some of these things, people assume that we are simply ranting on the internet. But if you think deeply about these things, you'd understand what we are talking about. It's not rocket science; you will see it for yourself.

Of course you may say everybody is aware of what is going on. But how can we make a change? Exactly! We can make a change, and we will surely do so!

We are not just ranting on social media or talking for talking's sake, we are going to make a change!

First off, we will create awareness and let our people know that they are not powerless. That is one of my major messages: letting people know the power they have. As Africans, as Blacks, we cannot remain under the oppression and subjugation of these colonial demons. Think about it deeply. What will it cost people like Elon Musk, alongside others of influence, to decide to contribute something valuable to the continent?

Manufacturing in Africa is less than 11% of GDP, versus 16% globally. We have 60% of the world's uncultivated arable land, 30% of mineral reserves, and the youngest workforce on Earth.

What impact have their riches had on Africa? What difference has it made?

Clearly, the only reason they would ever consider coming back is to oppress the same people they should be helping, yet somehow think that God is going to be happy about these actions.

Why can't what they have be used to benefit humanity? Why can their gifts not be used to impact the world instead? Why do they listen to the politicians who have taught them not to help Africa and to keep the resources within their countries?

Weren't your gifts given to serve humanity and the world? Why, then, must they be instruments of oppression?

Despite all of this, they still come to complain about the corruption in Africa, as though they are not the ones controlling the said corrupt leaders and running the show behind the scenes.

A question that often burdens my mind is, “What would it cost them to develop Africa?”

How is it that the continent still struggles with stable electricity in the 21st century? Meanwhile, electricity is a basic amenity in Europe, including Ukraine.

Six hundred million of us still lack reliable access to electricity. That's nearly half the continent and over 80% of the global electricity access gap.

To top it off, the worst part is that the people willing to develop the continent are stopped from doing so. It shows just how wicked and heartless these people truly are. They don't want to do it themselves, and they will also stop others from doing so as well.

Dear friends, will we continue to watch as these demons oppress and subjugate us?

Will you remain silent and believe the propaganda that they are not the cause of our problems?

If not them, then who?

We will no longer be quiet, and you should not be either. These demons torment our people, scattering them all over the world.

They wouldn't want Africa to develop after knowing just how much potential Africa has and how we can be a major threat to them on the global stage.

But, like I always say, their time is up.

Jesus Is NOT Coming Soon

In many religious circles, people talk about Jesus coming soon with a sense of urgency, as though we need to prepare quickly and get ready to go to heaven.

It sounds godly, pious, and like the right thing to do.

But is it?

Is Jesus really coming soon?

What we need to understand is that if our focus is on heaven, why did we need to come to earth in the first place? If God sent us here only for us to rush back to heaven, then what is the point of coming here at all?

Jesus is coming, truly, but He is not coming soon!

Your own personal "coming" of Jesus may occur after your work on earth is done and you are called home to the Lord. But when people talk about the rapture and Jesus' physical return, I do not believe it is imminent because humanity still has a long way to go.

There are many things that we have not yet done. Divinity has invested so much in humanity for God to waste all His investment. Think of it like cultivating a farmland, preparing the land, and planting seeds, only for someone to come a few days later and begin harvesting.

Harvesting of what?

The plants have not yet grown, let alone begun bearing fruit. That is how it is with us humans. When people do not understand the times and seasons, they talk about Jesus coming soon and urge others to prepare. That message can become a distraction that takes people's attention away from what they are supposed to focus on.

The focus should not be on going to heaven; the focus should be on bringing heaven to earth.

Going to heaven can become a form of escapism, and it resonates with many people because they are already tired of the troubles, economic hardships, politics, broken systems, tragedies, and chaos of this world. They want to escape all of it and find refuge in heaven. But is that really the purpose of Jesus' coming? Is that really the reason God sent you here?

The problems here are meant to be solved by you. You are meant to bring heaven to earth, not simply wait for God to solve every problem. The job is yours, not God's, because He has already placed within you what you need to solve those problems. So it is your responsibility to bring heaven to earth.

Unless you want to die soon, there is no reason to pray to go to heaven. And even if you want to die soon, why? When there is still an assignment for you here on earth?

Our focus should be on our assignment and purpose. That is one of the most godly things we can think of. The Bible says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). We were not created just to exist until we die; we were created for good works and divine assignments.

Even Jesus, in our Lord's Prayer, said, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Why did He not pray that we should be taken to heaven instead? It shows that we are meant to ensure that the will of the Father is established on earth. That is our assignment here. Not to pray continually that Jesus should come soon. You are meant to bring the Kingdom of God to earth, not simply desire to leave for heaven.

When someone preaches a message focused on going to heaven, does it help you focus on your purpose, or does it distract you from it? It can also make you feel detached from what God is doing on earth. Meanwhile, you may not be solving problems, contributing your ideas, or putting in the work in the area to which God has called you.

You already have God within you. Heaven is already within you. Where else do you want to go? Bring that heaven to earth. Let it manifest here. Jesus Himself said, "the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21). If the Kingdom of God is within you, then your responsibility is not just to wait for heaven, but to allow that Kingdom to be expressed through your life, your work, and your purpose.

This is especially important for us as Africans to learn because we are among the most religious people on earth. We do not need to be distracted by messages that take our focus away from our purpose. We need to focus on our assignments and on the work we have been called to do.

Why Nigerians Have a Bad Reputation Abroad

Would you believe that Nigerians, despite their popularity, have been dragged through the mud of a bad reputation? Someone recently asked me, “Why are Nigerians so bad? In this place, many people have stopped coming because of Nigerians. They say they sexually harass, assault, and bully them.”

Another time, a friend was complaining to me about how, the moment he said he was Nigerian at his workplace, everyone started pulling back and changed their attitudes toward him. I have heard many people say Nigerians are criminals, aggressive, and lousy.

I wouldn’t know what other way to explain myself. Many of us have been dragged into this mud. There are times when the doors of opportunities, connections, and networking have closed simply because you said you were Nigerian. It is more than terrible.

I know many of us Nigerians are familiar with this. So, I have decided to unpack what is really going on with this plague that has become almost a curse among us. Because while you think things are getting better, they are actually getting worse.

People talk about Africans all the time, but Nigerians especially are talked about on a different level. The issue with our reputation has been going on for years, and Nigerians abroad face discrimination and defamation. They are often seen as fraudsters, drug dealers, swindlers, corrupt individuals, aggressives, and overly ambitious people. Hearing these things over and over again make you sick and tired.

To start with, Nigeria is the most populous Black nation on Earth. That means anywhere you see Black people on Earth, there is a high tendency that you will also find a Nigerian. And there are a lot of Nigerians who have migrated to different parts of the world, so it makes sense that Nigerian names are mentioned more often than those of many other African countries abroad.

Another thing a lot of people do not understand about Nigeria is that the term “Nigerian” is a mixture—a mixture of over 500 different ethnic groups, more than 2,000 languages and dialects, and numerous tribes and cultures. That's just a simple recipe for disaster!

Nigeria is a jumble of different people who exist and are forced to live together. In return, you get all kinds of people, both ordinary and unusual. As long as there are different people mixed together, you will always see different characters and ideologies.

As a matter of fact, people from Edo State in Nigeria are among the most migrated Nigerians abroad. Many of them were forced to leave the country after the British government destroyed and looted their kingdom. The destruction led to their scattering and migration. The same was true for many Igbos following the Biafran War.

Most Nigerians who migrate are from the southern part of the country. Nigerians from the north hardly migrate out of the country. Something to understand is that bad leadership and governance, as well as economic crises, political instability, poor infrastructure, unemployment, inflation, among other factors, have forced many Nigerians to leave.

Upon leaving, some become desperate to do anything if it means survival. Of course, not all of them. There are also those who work hard and receive the rewards of their hard work. But others, who now represent a portion of the population, are willing to get whatever they want by hook or by crook.

Coincidentally, Nigerians are also among the smartest people on Earth. A lot of the negative things you hear about Nigerians are strengths that have been misdirected. A scammer has to be smart and intelligent to be successful. The West has often chosen to amplify the negative aspects while ignoring the intelligence that lies beneath them. When people call Nigerians fraudsters, they do not think about how such behavior may be a misdirection of talent and intelligence. They also forget that fraud and theft did not originate with Nigerians.

If the West truly want to help, they can channel those abilities into something positive. But they would rather shut Nigerians down and demonize their strengths and intelligence. This is not a justification for the actions of those Nigerians, even if some of them have experienced hardship.

What we need to understand is that many people believe there has been a deliberate effort to ensure that the strengths of Nigerians, and Africans at large, remain overshadowed by negative stereotypes. Nigerians have played pivotal and instrumental roles in the liberation and freedom movements of the African continent. Nigerians are among the smartest and most intelligent people known in the world.

Those who focus on negative stereotypes continue to amplify weaknesses while ignoring achievements.

While they talk about the bad things that some Nigerians are doing, we must focus on the good. Look at any field or area of specialization and you will see Nigerians blazing trails and doing excellent things. There is hardly any aspect of human endeavor where you will not find Nigerians making contributions.

It takes a lot for an immigrant not only to carve a path but also to become a person of influence and affluence in a foreign land. It takes resilience and determination. If more people understood the challenges immigrants face, perhaps there would be greater empathy and understanding.

The high level of criminality and bad reputation that some Nigerians acquire abroad is, in my view, largely connected to the bad leadership, governance failures, and economic conditions that have persisted in Nigeria and many African countries, including the lingering effects of colonialism and neocolonial influence.

If people do not find the right way to do things, they will look for the wrong way. This does not justify their actions, but it is a reality that should be acknowledged. In many cases, doing bad things is even more difficult than doing good because it requires more effort to hide the evidence and cover one's tracks.

Meanwhile, for us as Africans, it is high time that we stop demonizing ourselves and start looking at the root cause of our problem. Many Africans believe that colonial powers and their continued influence have contributed significantly to leadership failures, resource exploitation, and underdevelopment across the continent. They believe that African leaders have become puppets of the West while the continent's resources continue to enrich them.

There is more to this bad reputation than simply the bad things that some Nigerians are doing. The amplification of these issues, I believe, has also been used to demonize our strengths and capitalize on weaknesses. But as I always say - their time is up!

As Africans, we must keep supporting ourselves. We must keep strengthening ourselves. We must keep uniting ourselves. We must keep believing in ourselves.

Any time you see something bad about your brother or sister, let us call ourselves to order and find ways to channel our strengths into something positive. Let us see how we can bring progress to Africa rather than contribute to our own downfall.

Whether you are Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, Zimbabwean, South African, or from anywhere else in Africa, we are one family, and we must unite to fight our common enemy.

Africa is on the path of progress and development, and nothing will ever stop us!

4 Types of Attachment styles

Attachment styles are patterns of connecting and bonding in close relationships. They develop largely from early experiences with caregivers, but they can also be influenced by later relationships, trauma, and life experiences.

Psychologists generally describe four main attachment styles:

1. Secure Attachment

Core Belief

"I am worthy of love, and other people can be trusted."

Characteristics

· Comfortable with intimacy and independence.

· Communicates needs openly.

· Trusts their partner without excessive suspicion.

· Handles conflict reasonably well.

· Does not panic when a partner needs space.

· Can give and receive love comfortably.

Example

Sarah's husband goes on a business trip for a week. She misses him but doesn't assume he's cheating or leaving her. They stay in touch, and she continues her normal life.

In Conflict

A secure person might say:

"I'm hurt by what happened. Can we talk about it?"

Strengths

· Emotional stability.

· Healthy communication.

· High relationship satisfaction.

2. Anxious Attachment (Preoccupied Attachment)

Core Belief

"I need love desperately, but people might leave me."

Characteristics

· Fear of abandonment.

· Constant need for reassurance.

· Overthinks texts, calls, and behaviors.

· Becomes highly distressed by emotional distance.

· Often feels insecure about the relationship.

Example

John sends his girlfriend a text. She doesn't reply for three hours. He immediately thinks:

· "She's angry."

· "She's losing interest."

· "She's probably talking to someone else."

Meanwhile, she was simply busy.

Common Behaviors

· Excessive texting.

· Seeking reassurance repeatedly.

· Jealousy.

· Difficulty being alone.

In Conflict

An anxious person might say:

"Do you even love me anymore?"

Hidden Fear

The real fear is:

"Please don't leave me."

Strengths

· Deeply caring.

· Emotionally expressive.

· Highly invested in relationships.

Weaknesses

· Clinginess.

· Emotional dependence.

· Relationship anxiety.

3. Avoidant Attachment (Dismissive-Avoidant)

Core Belief

"I can only rely on myself."

Characteristics

· Values independence above intimacy.

· Feels uncomfortable with emotional vulnerability.

· Pulls away when relationships become too close.

· Struggles to express feelings.

· May appear emotionally distant.

Example

A partner says:

"I feel disconnected from you."

The avoidant person changes the topic, becomes defensive, or withdraws emotionally.

Common Behaviors

· Avoiding deep conversations.

· Keeping emotional distance.

· Prioritizing work or hobbies over intimacy.

· Needing excessive personal space.

In Conflict

An avoidant person might say:

"I don't want to talk about it."

Hidden Fear

The real fear is:

"If I depend on someone, I'll get hurt."

Strengths

· Independent.

· Self-sufficient.

· Calm under pressure.

Weaknesses

· Emotional distance.

· Difficulty with intimacy.

· Can make partners feel unloved.

4. Fearful-Avoidant Attachment (Disorganized Attachment)

Core Belief

"I want love, but I don't trust it."

Characteristics

· Simultaneously craves intimacy and fears it.

· Often has a history of trauma, abuse, neglect, or chaotic relationships.

· Sends mixed signals.

· Can be loving one moment and distant the next.

· Experiences intense internal conflict.

Example

Emma desperately wants a relationship.

When someone gets close:

· She becomes afraid.

· Pulls away.

· Creates distance.

When they leave:

· She feels abandoned.

· Tries to pull them back.

Common Behaviors

· Hot-and-cold behavior.

· Trust issues.

· Emotional unpredictability.

· Self-sabotage.

In Conflict

A fearful-avoidant person might say:

"I need you. Leave me alone."

Hidden Fear

The real fear is:

"Love will hurt me."

Strengths

· Deep emotional insight.

· Strong empathy.

· Capacity for profound connection when healing occurs.

Weaknesses

· Emotional instability.

· Difficulty trusting.

· Relationship turbulence.

How the Styles Interact

The most commonly discussed difficult pairing is the anxious–avoidant trap:

· The anxious partner wants more closeness.

· The avoidant partner wants more space.

· The anxious partner pursues.

· The avoidant partner withdraws.

· Both become frustrated.

How to Recognize a Person's Attachment Style

Watch how they respond to:

1. Conflict

· Secure: Discusses issues.

· Anxious: Fears abandonment.

· Avoidant: Withdraws.

· Fearful-Avoidant: Alternates between pursuit and withdrawal.

2. Distance

· Secure: Handles it well.

· Anxious: Panics.

· Avoidant: Enjoys it.

· Fearful-Avoidant: Wants distance and closeness simultaneously.

3. Vulnerability

· Secure: Comfortable.

· Anxious: Shares quickly.

· Avoidant: Avoids sharing.

· Fearful-Avoidant: Wants to share but fears consequences.

4. Commitment

· Secure: Comfortable.

· Anxious: Often seeks it quickly.

· Avoidant: Hesitates.

· Fearful-Avoidant: Wants it but fears it.

An Important Truth

Attachment styles are patterns, not life sentences.

A person with an anxious, avoidant, or fearful-avoidant attachment style can become more secure through:

· Self-awareness.

· Healthy relationships.

· Therapy or counseling.

· Learning emotional regulation.

· Practicing honest communication.

The goal is not to label people, but to understand why they react the way they do and how healthier relationships can be built. The healthiest long-term pattern is generally secure attachment, where a person can both love deeply and remain emotionally stable when challenges arise.
