A Scientific Approach to Solve Our Problem

Why am I here? Because home is not good. Why is home not good? Because we have bad leaders. Why do we have bad leaders? Because we have bad systems. Why do we have bad systems? Because of our bad history. Why do we have a bad history? Because of colonization. Why do we have colonization? Because we submitted our power to foreigners. Why did we submit our power to foreigners? Because of the selfishness of our leaders.

The same problem that brought us to where we are today is being perpetuated by our current leaders. I hope this is not a curse. We must not let this evil continue. It’s high time we stopped it and took back our land from the hands of wolves.

Ending the Seeds of Animosity Among Us

I'm seeing so much animosity growing among Africans living abroad and those at home. I hear complaints about what people from a particular country have done, and so the entire people from that country are condemned.

If you are looking for accommodation, a job, or any assistance at all, the moment you mention you are from a particular country, you are doomed. The door of opportunity is closed immediately. Then, I thought to myself – why should this be a problem among us? Why should what some people have done tarnish the image of an entire nation?

We know there are bad people, and there are those who have spoiled the image of the country where they came from. But why should that be a problem if you are a genuinely loving and kind person? Why should the evil done by others overpower your good? Why should darkness overcome your light?

This is something very serious we must pay attention to because it is eating us up. It is further dividing our nations and making us sow bad seeds into our future.

This is particularly common among countries like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Congo, and so on. People from these countries resent each other. They vilify one another.

The height of it is if you are from Nigeria, you become a victim of this vilification because they think all Nigerians are bad. They think they are all the same.

I understand, for the most part, that there are some Nigerians who have done bad things. I’ve talked to countless people who have given me bad reports about Nigerians.

Now, that doesn’t make all the people bad. This is the largest Black nation on earth. Everywhere you meet a Black person, you will see at least one Nigerian. That is to tell you how ubiquitous Nigerians are.

So, it stands to reason why many wrongdoings are attributed to Nigerians. And these people doing bad are a tiny percentage compared to the entire population.

To think of the origin of this problem will be another topic of discussion. But for now, let’s focus on ourselves.

We are a people of love and power. We are a smart and intelligent people. Why should we allow hatred and hostility to thrive among us? This is when we need love and unity. This is when we need to support each other and love ourselves genuinely. We are all foreigners in this land, trying to make life better for ourselves. Why should what one person has done tarnish the image of other people?

Let’s keep showing love and support for each other. No matter what anyone has done, let’s not use that to judge other people. Your good will always come back to you. Your kindness will always be rewarded. Don’t resent your fellow African person.

I know there will be sentiment about where you came from. But you are first an African before a Nigerian or Ghanaian. Nature has bonded us together. Let’s not separate from each other and disunite ourselves.

The adversaries don’t want us united. They don’t want us bonded in love because they know that is where our strength lies. But we will not submit to their ploy. We will not allow them to disunite us. We will unite and stay connected. We will triumph and succeed.

I see us becoming a great and powerful continent in the world. Cheers to a higher life.
